J. W. Bailey Construction Company is dedicated to building the future of California. We provide highly qualified craftsmen and subcontractors, premium building materials, and excellent service from conception through completion on all our construction projects.

J. W. Bailey Construction Company is a Santa Barbara based General Contracting firm with construction projects throughout the Tri County area. During our 50 years of operation, we have successfully completed more than 6,000 respective projects, encompassing a wide variety of clients and project sizes. We have received many awards over the years for community service, construction quality and excellent workmanship which included the prestigious peer award for "Contractor of the Year".

J. W. Bailey Construction Company was started in 1949 in Santa Barbara by J. W. Bailey, Sr. The company incorporated in California in October of 1961, with J. W. Bailey Jr. as President. A family operated business, W. R. Bailey, son of J. W. Bailey, joined the firm seventeen years ago and is now president. Juliet Bailey Bischoff, financial controller, and daughter of J. W. Bailey, has overseen the financial and job costing aspects of the firm for over two decades.
